3rd MOLAR EXTRACTION COURSE - LIVE PATIENTS

This comprehensive hands-on course is designed to give general dentists the knowledge, confidence, and technical skills necessary to perform third molar extractions safely and effectively. The program begins with a focused half-day lecture led by an experienced surgeon, reviewing patient selection, case assessment, radiographic interpretation, anesthesia considerations, and surgical techniques for varying levels of impaction. Common challenges, potential complications, and strategies for risk reduction will also be discussed, providing participants with a strong theoretical framework.

The second half of the day is devoted to practical application. Each doctor will have the opportunity to perform supervised third molar extractions on two pre-selected patients, applying the techniques and principles covered in the morning session. Individualized guidance and immediate feedback from faculty ensure a supportive learning environment that prioritizes patient safety while maximizing the educational experience.

By the end of the course, participants will have enhanced their diagnostic skills, refined their surgical approach, and gained valuable confidence in managing third molar cases in their practice. This unique blend of lecture and live clinical experience makes the program ideal for dentists who wish to expand their scope of services and deliver comprehensive care to their patients.
